Back on Instagram, Britney Spears has one request: ‘Do not call the cops’

In a new development, Britney Spears is pleading with her fans to refrain from contacting law enforcement regarding her social media activity, or lack thereof.

On Tuesday, the pop icon shared a video on Instagram showcasing some of her new dresses and speaking in an affected accent, although it's uncertain whether she was impersonating a European accent or utilizing a vocal filter.

This latest post comes only a few weeks after Spears chastised her followers for calling the police to her residence due to her decision to deactivate her Instagram account, which is a habit she engages in on a fairly regular basis.

The "Hold Me Closer" singer, in the middle of the video, urges fans not to contact the police if she deactivates her Instagram account. In her caption, Spears encourages her fans to stay humble and shares a message to her parents.

Her latest post comes after she spoke out against fans calling the police on her last month, stating that her privacy was violated. The Ventura County Sheriff's Office confirmed that they responded to her home to check on her but determined that she was safe.

Spears expresses her love and adoration for her fans but pleads for her privacy to be respected moving forward. She denies rumors that she almost died and warns that she may stop posting on Instagram if people continue to spread lies about her personal life. The Grammy winner assures fans that she is doing well more than a year after her controversial conservatorship was terminated.

She shares her joy about making homemade lasagna at home and successfully getting her living room fireplace to work. In closing, she advises her followers not to believe everything they read and reminds them that it's not 2007 but 2023.
